Pleasant and stimulating environment for the pupils

Hastings is situated in a pleasant and quiet residential area in the northern part of Madrid, easily accessible by car or public transport. There is also a school bus service covering all areas of the inner city.

The School is divided into the Infants section, situated in Paseo de La Habana, and the Junior and Secondary sections in C/ Azulinas. The two buildings are very close to each other, making it easy for those parents who have children in both sections. The school bus also collects pupils from the two sites.

In recent years the facilities have been dramatically improved. The Infants School has been completely refurbished, providing bright and spacious classroom accommodation for young children. The Junior and Secondary sections are housed in a purpose-built building, which has also been extensively improved and adapted. As well as the attractive classrooms, the facilities include three science laboratories, an impressive, well-resourced information technology centre, library, gymnasium and art room. There are two playgrounds and Hastings also uses the Sports facilities available at the nearby Halls of Residence.

We have also invested in learning resources, particularly interactive white boards which offer exciting new opportunities for both teachers and learners. Overall, the facilities provide the pupils with a pleasant and stimulating environment.
