Due to the increasing demand, this year we have decided to divide our Summer Course into two. This will help us give a more individualised attention as children are grouped according to ages.

For children between the ages of 2 - 5 the course will take place in our Primary unit in Paseo de la Habana 204. For children between the ages of 6 - 10 the course will take place in our Primary and Secondary unit in Azulinas n° 8.
We have also extended the age limit so that no one is left out !
Hastings School Summer Course offers a programme of workshops which will enable children to develop their skills in different areas in a rich and exciting learning environment, as well as widening their use of English.
The five workshops run on a daily basis. Designed to meet the needs of each age group and supervised by qualified staff. They have been divided into 45 min. sessions with an hour session for the language workshop.

The workshops are as follows :

A language workshop : children will have the chance to acquire a new language through games, songs, stories, videos and computer programmes.

An urban sports camp : children will take part in a wide range of team sports, including handball, minibasket and volleyball, and individual sports .

A cooking workshop : children will learn to make simple dishes in a safe environment and will have the chance to take part in home skills. A real hands-on learning experience !

A drama workshop : run by a professional drama group who will encourage the children to perform and let their imagination fly as well as to develop their confidence in themselves.

An arts and crafts workshop : children will learn different techniques, using a variety of tools and materials, in a relaxing and creative atmosphere.
