Hastings School win the International School basketball tournament

Hastings sporting involvement continues to be successful this year with a first time Boys infantil basketball victory at the International schools basketball tournament held by Kensington school.  We had a very strong team led by Quique Cordon who was the standout player at the tournament. He was ably supported by a range of other players drafted from years 7-9.

Hastings won their group easily beating British council and tough match against Kings College. We then went on to ensure qualifying for the semi-finals after beating Kensington and enduring a narrow defeat by ISM. In the semi-final we dispatched Kings College who again put up a tremendous challenge only to meet ISM again in the final. The Hastings players kept their calm and squeezed the game in the last quarter. To win by a basket.

Congratulations to the team, we are very proud of them!
