As part of the transition to secondary, Year 6 visited Lorenzo Solano Tendero campus and took part in a day full of fun and excitement!
On Wednesday 23 May, a team of Year 4, 5 and 6 athletes joined children from other British schools in Madrid at a stadium in Las Rozas to participate in the annual Junior Athletics Day.
A wonderful sunny day to kick start the athletics season and another successful day for Hastings! All pupils demonstrated strong performances and won gold, silver and bronze medals.
As a fabulous finish of their Bird topic, Year 3 pupils went on a trip to the Museum of Natural Sciences and had the chance to sketch the actual bird they had researched and written about.
Year 4 enjoyed a sunny day at the open air at Cañada Real Open Centre and had the opportunity to observe some of the species of plants and animals that belong to the ecosystems here on the Iberian Peninsula.
Over the last few weeks Year 2 have become very knowledgeable about the artists Kandinsky, Miro and Picasso. They have researched facts about them and become artists themselves producing paintings and sculptures inspired by the art work they have seen.
