Sixth Form students visit the British University Fair

Every year in sixth form, years 12 and 13 attend The British University Fair in October run by the British Council. This year around 35 UK universities attended including Cambridge University for the first time, Imperial College London, University College London, Kings College, Manchester and Leeds.

Sixth formers were able to visit the stands and speak to university representatives and admissions experts to talk about degree courses in their areas of interest and discuss questions such as entry requirements, what else do universities look for in an applicant beyond their grades, studying a year abroad or working in industry as part of their degree course, campus information and so on.

Students returned to school with bag fulls of brochures and  information and excited and motivated by their morning’s research.
