At our private British school, we offer an international education from the ages of 2 to 18 in the heart of Madrid.
Hastings School was founded in 1971 and we have a long history of academic success. Our students achieve excellent academic results and graduate to many of the best universities around the world including, in 2023, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Complutense, IE, Trinity College Dublin, Leiden, Leuven (and many more!).
We want students to enjoy their experience of a British education, fulfil their academic potential and develop the skills and attributes they will need in a world where many jobs will be automated and distinctly ´human´ qualities – creativity, curiosity, collaboration – will be prized above all else.

Facilities & Location
An ecosystem of learning in cosy campuses.
Hastings School is made of six different campuses, all located in the heart of Madrid. Three of these are in the district of Chamartín, each around five minutes walking from the others. The other three are situated in Arturo Soria and Conde Orgaz.
All of our school campuses can be easily accessed both by public transport and on foot.

At Hastings School, our students experience an authentic British international education with native teachers who are trained to ensure that students both enjoy their learning and thrive academically.
There is a consistent educational philosophy that runs through the school, whether a child is 5 or 15 years old. Lessons are dynamic with students actively involved in their learning, discussing with others and solving problems.
Students are challenged to think for themselves and grapple with concepts, rather than having the teacher simply give them the answer.

Our six different campuses, are located in the district of Chamartín in the heart of Madrid, and cover all educational stages from Early Years to Sixth Form. We combine the advantages of being a large school—able to meet the needs of all our students—with the benefits of small campuses, offering facilities tailored to each stage of development.
