As a brilliant beginning for their topic on Rainforests, the children in Year 4 were each given a rainforest layer to research.
They had to find out about the animals and plants that live there, as well as the conditions within that layer. They used this research to create a shoe box diorama, depicting their given section.
The dioramas have been layered up to create a scene of the four layers of the rainforest: the forest floor, understory, canopy and emergent layer.
Which animals can you see hiding amongst the vegetation?
