We are very proud of the superb results of our students this year, both at IGCSE and A level
The 2025 academic results at Hastings are a true reflection of the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students. This year has seen exceptional outcomes across all levels.
Our students’ achievements remain among the highest, showcasing not only their academic excellence but also their commitment to excellence in a diverse and challenging environment.
These impressive results demonstrate not only the intellectual abilities of our students but also the effectiveness of our rigorous academic programs.
Our students' remarkable achievements have enabled them to secure places at some of the globe's leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial.
Spanish and UK universities remain the most popular but the Netherlands is becoming the first choice for more students each year.
Under the guidance of Mr Beer (University Counsellor) and Mr Lopez (Director Técnico) students receive first-rate support in navigating the many exciting university options and choosing the one that is right for them.
PCE Results 2025
This was the second year AL students could not use their AL subjects to improve their Fase Específica and we would like to congratulate all students for their amazing set of results:
41% of all exam results were 8 to 10
23% of all exam results were 9 to 10
85 % of all exam results were 5 to 10
Average for PCE results 6.8 - UNED global average 5.1
Average for Fase Específica 3 out of 4
These results really boosted students' Fase General results and helped them secure places at top Spanish public universities such as Autónoma, Complutense,Carlos III and Politécnica.

Another year of outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results!
We are delighted to congratulate the Hastings School IB Diploma Class of 2026 on another exceptional set of achievements:

100% of students achieved the Diploma
38% of students achieved 38 points or more
HIGHEST DIPLOMA SCORE 42
21% of students achieved the prestigious Bilingual Diploma

Learning Power Approach
Encouraging students to form good habits for future success
In order to fulfil our academic aims, the way we teach is very important. As such we have been working closely with world famous educationalist Guy Claxton on a teaching methodology, The Learning Power Approach, that aims to help students achieve outstanding results and become powerful learners, able to enjoy success at school, university and in life beyond. While a strong academic track record is important in helping young people obtain a job, it is almost entirely irrelevant in doing the job well! Young people need to be good communicators, able to work through problems successfully, strong at working in teams and so on.
