Welcome to Hastings

Welcome to Hastings School, an International British School in Madrid

A caring, successful, global community with high expectations.

All-through education (from 2 to 18 years).

Hastings School is made up of six different campuses, all located in the centre of Madrid.

Native English Teachers– International British Education from 2 years old

We have a professional and highly trained team of British and Spanish teachers who, year after year, help our students to achieve their goals.

We aim to make learning enjoyable and encourage students to think for themselves. We want to help students develop the attributes that will be vital later in life: collaboration, creativity, resilience, empathy and so on.

Preparing for success beyond school – 100% of our students go to university.

At the end of their studies, our pupils can apply to British and Spanish universities, as well as other outstanding institutions around the world. 63% of our leavers over the last two years are now studying at universities abroad.

Students at Hastings are offered individual guidance on the type and number of courses they should study, and the consequent career and university options which exist. All students are assisted with their university applications by our full-time Universities Counsellor.

Outstanding Academic Results – A Passport to World-Class Universities

Every year students at Hastings School achieve outstanding results in their external examinations, well above the average found in the United Kingdom.

Hastings graduates therefore secure places at prestigious universities in the UK, Spain and around the world, including in the last two years: Cambridge, Imperial, St Andrew´s, UCL, Amsterdam, École Polytechnique, Carlos III and Complutense.
