This large converted chalet in Paseo de la Habana has the longest history within the Hastings family of buildings. It is a dedicated Early Years centre for three classes each of Nursery and Reception pupils.
The teachers are UK qualified and experienced practitioners who offer a curriculum based upon the English national curriculum: the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Each class teacher of Nursery children are supported by two full-time, bilingual, teaching assistants; each reception class teacher is supported by one full-time, bilingual, teaching assistant.
The section is led by our Early Years Senior Coordinator who shares a support teaching load covering the six classes based in this building with an additional full-time Early Years Assistant Coordinator. These coordinators report directly to the Head of Primary who is based in the Bendicion de Campos building.
The children are immersed in English from their first day and they spend a great deal of each day learning through play. Outdoor play is very important and so each class enjoys ample time and opportunity to be in the spacious front patio with all the larger toys and learning structures and implements.

Our Early Years building, located in Paseo de La Habana, Madrid (Chamartin district), provides education for Nursery and Reception children.
The building covers a gross floor area of 630 sq.m. There are two classes per year group, a kitchen, a dining room, a sand-pit, a play area, a big main playground and two smaller ones.
